- Evington leisure centre in Leicester has reopened after a £1.5m revamp
- A new single-storey extension now houses the gym – which is more than twice the size of the previous gym area – as well as a new dance and group exercise studio and spin room.
- The centre’s refurbishment has also created additional space for community use
- The refurbishment of fitness facilities at Evington Leisure Centre is part of our ongoing works with Leicester council which has already transformed facilities at Cossington Street Sports Centre and Aylestone Leisure Centre
- Councillor Clair said: “Evington Leisure Centre has been transformed in this refurbishment and now offers state-of-the-art fitness facilities and a high quality space that I hope the whole community will use.”
