Mossford Mews
Key Features
The Mossford Mews development involved the construction of six new build houses designed with modern and environmentally efficient features.
This blend of housing types ensures that the development caters to a diverse range of housing needs within the community.
Delivered under a JCT Design and Build Contract, the project benefited from a collaborative approach between Etec and Redbridge Borough Council.
Site clearance was a significant initial phase of the project. This involved the careful removal of two category B trees, seven category C trees, and one category U tree.
The tree removal was conducted with due diligence, ensuring minimal environmental impact and compliance with local regulations.
Our team coordinated closely with environmental consultants to ensure that the site clearance was conducted responsibly and ethically.
Challenges and Solutions
A key aspect of the Mossford Mews project was our commitment to supporting local businesses and investing in the community.
We actively engaged local suppliers and contractors, reinforcing our dedication to fostering economic growth within Ilford.
By sourcing materials and services locally, we contributed to the local economy and supported small businesses in the area.
Throughout the project, we worked closely with Redbridge’s Resident Liaison Officer to minimise disruption for local residents.
Environmental Design
The design of the new homes at Mossford Mews incorporates several environmentally efficient features.
These include energy-efficient heating systems, high-quality insulation, and sustainable building materials.
The modern design not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the homes but also ensures long-term sustainability and reduced environmental impact.
Our focus on environmental efficiency aligns with Redbridge Borough Council’s commitment to creating sustainable communities.
These new homes provide much-needed affordable housing in Ilford, contributing to the overall well-being and growth of the area.
