Etec were appointed by the London Borough of Bromley to complete the redevelopment of York Rise, a brownfield site near Orpington Station, delivering 35 affordable homes to address local housing needs.

The development comprises one, two, and three bedroom units, including wheelchair-accessible homes, arranged around a landscaped, community-focused cul-de-sac with shared gardens and play areas.

The scheme promotes inclusivity, biodiversity, and wellbeing through sensitive re-landscaping, retention of wild fringes, and sustainable construction methods.

Delivered using Modern Methods of Construction, the project provides, high quality, and energy-efficient homes that support Bromley Council’s commitment to sustainable and affordable housing delivery.

Inheritance of incomplete scheme due to the contractor entering into administration.
