Work Experience

My time during my work experience at Etec was revealing to the true myriads of people behind construction that can take an idea to the real world through the many steps and process it takes.During my time I observed many positions in construction; Director, Quantity Surveyors and Contracts Managers, visiting sites that Etec oversee such as Padnall Hall taking part in surveying the sites to understand how costs of renovating are calculated. Further into my work experience, I took to the office creating a take-off and line up all in relation to real time projects Etec had undertook placing me directly into the work environment. I had a great time and now understand processes of construction in real time that aren’t just the stereotypical labourer but the massive team behind the planning and preparation for the labourer.
